These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Indian Rishte under the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules made thereunder. By using the Platform you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms.

2. Purpose of the Platform

Indian Rishte is a matrimonial profile browsing platform intended to facilitate the search for a life partner for nikah (Islamic marriage). The Platform is a directory service — we do not arrange marriages, provide matchmaking services, or act as a marriage bureau.

3. Eligibility

• You must be of marriageable age under applicable Indian law and personal law to use this Platform.
• By submitting a profile or using the Platform on behalf of another person, you confirm you have their consent to do so.
• The Platform is intended for use by individuals and families seeking a matrimonial match. Use for any other purpose is prohibited.

4. Profile Submission & Accuracy

• All information submitted for a profile must be accurate, current, and truthful.
• You must not submit profiles containing false, misleading, or fraudulent information.
• We reserve the right to review, edit, or remove any profile at our sole discretion, including profiles that violate these Terms or applicable law.
• Profile submission is subject to manual review. We do not guarantee a specific turnaround time for approval.

5. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law.
• Harass, threaten, or harm any person whose information appears on the Platform.
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Platform without our prior written consent.
• Submit spam, unsolicited communications, or advertisements.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Platform or its underlying systems.
• Impersonate any person or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or organisation.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform — including design, text, logos, graphics, and code — is the property of Indian Rishte or its licensors and is protected under applicable intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.

Profile information submitted by users remains the property of the respective individuals. By submitting a profile, you grant Indian Rishte a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display that information on the Platform for matrimonial purposes.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Platform is provided on an "as-is" and "as-available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any profile information. We are not responsible for the conduct of any user you contact through the Platform.

We strongly advise independently verifying information and exercising due caution before proceeding with any matrimonial arrangement.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Indian Rishte and its owners, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform — including but not limited to reliance on profile information, interactions with other users, or Platform unavailability.

9. Privacy

Your use of the Platform is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

10. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Platform at our sole discretion, without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, the Platform, or third parties.

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in India.
